good work !! I would of put a center hole with taper on blade or blade pusher retractor and a taper screw slever with a adjustment stop so you could feed as it turns just by touching the screw . but your way is much easyer and faster to make.. in reality instead of making one a few years ago I found one on flebay for about 40. with fine micro adjustment and auto depth thing that pushes the cutter out... or somethin like that .hell it's been 10 years or so since Ive even looked at it.
JOB WELL DONE!! and remember if the snap ring has a soft side / taper edge that usualy gos inward so it dont work the snap ring out. or outward so it dont work inward. many people dont know most/many snaprings are directional.

In agreement with marksbug about adjustments, adding a pilot diameter and register to the ''tool holder'' for intermediate removal; as I didn't hear the holder runs on bore diameter, which would be a choice, but not removable with cutter protruding.

Just like flat washers, snap rings having two different edges, evidence/ result of stamping process in manufacture.
