Hi everyone. I'm from Queensland in Australia and enjoy woodworking, guitar, gardening and cooking pizza in an oven I built myself. I'm in the process of restoring my Datsun 1600 sedan.

How is the Datsun restoration going so far?

Thanks Jon. The 1600 I've had for 17 years and was a daily up until 2005. It has been sitting in the shed on half a rotisserie for the last 3 years. I pick up a CA18DET package for the right $$$ and it's now turning on the completed rotisserie with rust repairs happening. Luckily it doesn't have that much rust in it.
Rust repair sections are a bit over priced here so hence why I've joined this site. I'm currently making my own shrinker stretcher, because everything I've read states that the cheaper ones aren't worth it, from plans I found on the net. I will post some pics up soon.
