Intro new guy

Hi all you machinist how r yu all??.
my name is Manny and live in southern CA in a small town of La Puente.
I just turned 70 but still love to make things although I haven't made anything for a while now.
I worked in CAD after having to leave my civil service job .
Autocad was my first cad program.
Now into Inventor and Fusion360 and Solid Works.
Love to draw and machine things.
Have much experience in life and in many trades.
Hopefully I am welcomed here.....for I was not welcomed back home in 1971.

Manny a lot of us did not receive the warmest of welcomes from 65 through 73 and later. I dodged it largely by staying in until 77 by then most of the stigma had died down.
As far as being welcome here pretty much everyone is.
What version of solidworks do you have I'm still running 2013, since retiring it makes no sense for me to spend money for newer versions or service packs.
