http://www.homemadetools.net/forum/i...es/hat_tip.gifI am a retired (read that tired!) Industrial Arts Teacher from the old school hands on, no computer nonsense! Trained in the fine art of do it yourself. I spent 21 years at the Middle School (6-8 grades) and 4 years at the High School (grades 9-12). I presently teach Adult Wood Workers up age 99, and Adults with Exceptional Abilities for our local Community Education network. So 25 years total in Public Schools. I was also a training Officer in the Army reserve for 21 years.
I am not necessarily a "traditional" woodworker in that I am always trying to build projects in a simpler way (comes from teaching adolescents), being that I have set starting and end times to my classes and I always like to be home before 8:00 p.m. from my day start of 0700!
I am also interested in old cars, (I have a '36 Ford and a '52 GMC Suburban)
gardening and energy relevant architecture. I consider myself a life long learner.

Hi inukemarine,
Welcome! :welcome:
Sounds as though you're still maintaining quite a schedule. We'd love to see those old cars. If you have any pics to share, please do post 'em.
What are you working on currently?
