I bummed into this very interesting and informative site while searching for ideas on building a drum sander. I am a retired industrial instrument technician keeping myself busy with some metal- and woodworking. A need for a drum sander became evident but buying one is beyond my budget. The next option is to build one myself which I intend to do in 2017.
