Jig for holes.
Hello everyone ..
Here's a ridiculous tool (Jig) lol ..
But greatly facilitated my drilling and has excellent repeatability.
Wood with channel (V),...Old bearings connect rods ... Simple but effective for low production.

Hi Hotz !
Good idea, I guess the screw at the bottom of the pictiure is for just holding the piece while you are drilling through the hole of the upper collar ?
What are these pieces made for ?

Hi Christophe how are you .. Yes the screw is only to centralize and align to the second hole, I was going to do a pin but the screw was perfect its diameter and the same hole 4.50 mm (11/64).
This piece is an adapter to gearshift.

Good post. Thanks for the idea. :)

Hi Hotz,
I like your use of a combination of CRS and hardwood for jigs and fixtures. Very effective use of our scrap lumber we always seem to store but never use.

Paul is always good to recover things, this project is the wood apple box, Bearings of an engine that rectified .. only the screws that are new but a very old stock ...
DIY's We have to make the most of the materials around us, if it were not so there would not be DIY's:cool:
Now you have to translate for me (CRS) .. Acronyms can not translation ...: :headscratch:

Hotz,
Great to hear from you again and see your posts. I too like to use what is available in my home shop and take the time once a month to look through all the tool boxes and cabinet drawers to be reminded of what parts and tools I already own.
CRS = Cold Rolled Steel
