    Jointer plane

I use this plane for preparing wood for edge gluing. It’s modeled after old coopers planes but in metal and much smaller, with a flat handle for clamping it in place.

With my old Stanley fence attached it works pretty much like a powered jointer and is easier to set up than one though harder to use. It works great for narrow and short pieces.

The frog, blade and cap are from an extra #6 plane and the body is a 20” piece of 3” channel with plates screwed on like what’s usually cast in for mounting the frog and totes.
