    You're right on the DIN-910 screw! The 12-24 screws used for mounting rim lock cylinders are made like that, to be snapped off to the desired length needed for the situation.

    A few others exist in reality as well, being former Army Ordnance, I'm familiar with explosive bolts (DIN-893)!
