Nice Quorn would love to have one but don't have the time to devote to it. To many other projects
Beautiful work. thanks for sharing.
Was the castings from a kit? Very nice project.
Ralph
Hi Ralph,
Thank you for the nice complement. Yes, the castings and drawings came from Martin Model and Pattern. It was a long project (about 12 years) but very enjoyable when done in smaller bites. I am very happy it is finished in its basic form and have pressed it into service so far for sharpening boring tools, key-way broaching tools, lathe bits and twist drills. It is a wiz at those jobs.
Dick
Thank you.
It is a very long project. The average time to build in a home shop ranges between 2,000 and 3,000 hours. One reason it can take so long is the fact that tools need to be made to make more tools to this project done.

Metallurg33,
My pleasure. Thanks for the compliment.

Your machine is a top shelf project and the time spent was well worth it all. I will pick up on my build this year, I was hoping to complete it before 2019 but it starting to look grim. I have that bad flu right now and have had it for eight days and feel like it is going to be some time till it is over. Well I guess we have something to look forward to.
Beautiful machine.
Nelson
Paul,
Thank you for the complement.
Dick
Nelson,
Thank you very much and I hope you get well soon. The flu is awful this year.
