    Hi Gang:

How does this work? There is no way to connect a center pivot.

    Carl.

It looks like the drawer is supported by a 3/4 section of what used to be called a lazy susan. I've not been able to find other examples of it online, so just a guess.

But where is it? Any guide has to pass the cabinet frame, plus not stick out pass the drawer front. I could see a drawer bottom that passes under the pillar at the center, but that pillar is solid. I could see edge guides if the drawer body was as large as the front, but it is smaller.

Anyone else have an idea? Perhaps it is magic??

If there were a track that was inside the 3/4 circle (but not the full 3/4 circle, maybe 2/3) and the underside of the drawer has rollers to follow the track, it could work like that.

We can't examine the drawer of cabinet, so that is the simplest explaination.

If it was possible to play with it, it would become obvious. Look under the drawer as it moves, look inside the cabinet, push down on the front as it rotates, etc.

I think I have it. The bottom of the drawer is co-plainer with the drawer fronts. And if you look at the ends of the drawers near the center you can see they are the same diameter as the inside of the drawer side. So a few caster facing up support the drawer and several caster running on the drawer inside diameter keep the drawer centered on the rotation.
Why the outside diameter isn't the same as the outside ends of the drawer fronts? Perhaps to form the impression this is an ordinary drawer??

I think you're right Carl, but I'm surprised not seeing inside center guide rollers closer to the pivot point at drawer openings.

Found it. The manufacturer provides a partial drawing of the cabinet, but not much more. Patents and copyrights.
