My interest is what caused the craters & what the advantage is of the plants in craters?
The craters are man made. Many vineyards across Spain are surrounded by rock walls. the advantage to the craters or the rock wall is to protect the plants from winds. Another advantage tot eh craters is they are located in a volcanic ash field the soil is high in nutrients and readily absorbs moisture the craters additionally help to direct run off from rains towards the plants in the centerQuote:
