This is a lathe stand I made about eight years ago, it has a built in system for trueing the bed, takes just a few minutes to do it. The video demonstrates how it works.

if I ever get time befor I die I plan on taking the bed off my POS enco 9x20 put it in my mill on stands and mill the botom mounts flat & square & paralell . then mount it on a slab of grannite. these cheep ass things flex somuch thats about the only way I can figure to stop it. but I use it so little I may never get to that. I should of done it when I got it new and didnt work...and was noisey as hell. now it's quiet.
