This is excellent. Why has it never occurred to me to put a dial indicator on a quick change tool post?
Travel indicators on a QC really shines in successive parts; even more so either axis. A couple different points like rollers or big buttons for cast surfaces, and a pivot for ID's, you're ready for anything.
