That angle grinder mounted like that is the single scariest thing I've seen all month. When it vibrates and pulls out of that All-Round it's launching itself straight at the operator's face.

What? Don't you think that plumping strap at the end of the tool near the place where the tool body tapers away is the best way to hold the tool in? And don't you also think having the guard so you can see the rotating plade as it is just a few inches away from you fingers a good idea?

What we can't see here is how the metal bracket is mounted. There is the possibility that it is mounted to the plate and the grinder. If that is the case, the plumbing strap is just a rear stabilizing hold down keeping the grinder in the wood saddle. The guard should be rotated forward a bit more but still allow a view of the actual point of work being done, or maybe a plexi shield to prevent chips flying towards the operator would be better. Adding a handle for controlling the movement would be a good idea though, at least it would get fingers farther away from rotating parts.
My grandpa Mathes, yes a cousin to that family, made the proto type cabinets for their products. He told me once that there were two kinds of wood workers, those who had missing digits and those who were going either lose a finger or nearly lose a finger

A handle would be a great idea. I think missing digits is the least of this guy's worries. He's going to lose a nose.

The visible evidence is that safety is hugely lacking. The screws holding the wood plate to the metal has the screw points out of the wood pointing up, there is a wedge holding the motor as a stablizer, the blade guard is clearly not rotated so that the chips can be kept from slamming into the operator, there is a handle but is clealy not being used, at about 0:30 (and 0:38) there is a pretty good view of the back side of the angle grinder and it doesn't look like there is any extra bracing.

It's russian (no I don't speak russiona, but microsoft translates for duck duck go), even the commentors on the yt video are talking about the lack of safety. One said he knew at least three people who didn't need to be taken to the hospital and a frown. But of course one russian said it was the best invention he has ever seen.
