Lathe Foot Brake

Hi guys,

Finally fabricated an addition to existing hand brake ( https://www.homemadetools.net/forum/...1437#post93779 ),
so now I have both a hand brake and a foot brake. Both brakes can be operated independently of each other.

Materials used:
brake cable, dia 3mm, length 2.2 meters, price USD 4 in China
steel flat bar (90 x 12 mm)
316 ss square tube 40 x 40 x 2mm
316 ss round bars, 12 and 18mm
2 tension springs, 1 compression spring
various bolts and nuts
