    Leather Kitchen knife roll

    Hi friends,
Another leather creation of mine, it's for my Cook son, for him to carry his tools wherever he goes.
It's a big size leather roll for storing the biggest knives and spatula, as well as small items.

Here is what I came up with :

Everything is hand sewn (see my stitching tools already posted before)
This leather was salvaged from an old sofa, it's pretty good quality leather, and the already worn out aspect gives it a vintage touch

Carry handle and a couple of buckle straps to close it :

The strap to keep the big knives blades is riveted in order to avoid the blades to cut any thread.

There is a kind of flap at the top in order to avoid the knives from falling off.

I have written an article on my website in the leather section.
    Cheers !
    Christophe

Great work Chris, you done a beautiful job cutting and sewing your leather using your home made tools, using the semi worn leather really does give it that used look which looks perfect, I'm sure your son will love showing your craftmanship to the other Chefs he knows, beautiful job

Really nice work Christophe, I love the fact that it is also made from salvaged leather.
