    LED Jig

I had a lot of LEDs to solder with the correct spacing for my magnifier lamp. The head was ABS and the soldered connections needs to be in a groove. To get the correct spacing and avoid melting the head (which had taken 7hr to print), I made this simple wooden jig

Cheers, it worked well for the soldering aspect, the forming/cutting was a bit fiddly because I'd left my small pliers and cutters down the shed and was using some bulkier wire strippers for both jobs.

    Hi Andy,
I'm currently working on an 8x8x8 LEd Cube and used a similar 8x8 plate jig for each layer.
Is the lamp finished now ?
What kind of foot will you use ?
    Read you soon,
    Christophe
    Cheers !

Hi Christophe, the lamp is nearly done, just a bit more wiring to do, the base is currently a block of wood but I might need to swap that with something heavier.
