Well executed, great designed aircraft. I like how they have redundancy built in with multiple motors, and blending between airplane and drone. If there was a complete engine/battery failure, it seems like there'd be some capability to glide down rather than drop like a stone...assuming there's some altitude to work with and functioning control surfaces.
This seems like a promising platform to grow with. It will be interesting to see where they go with this with time.
They only lasted a few years.
I wonder if Elon Musk has been designing something similar, great achievement.
Batteries have come a long way since their inception and have a long way to go before they become a viable energy storage package to power aircraft with any practical payload and distance.
