    presumably that is haulover inlet in Florida. There are many videos of boats going through there.

    Not much of a breakwater if the waves are like that going through. I've gone through 8 ft waves going out of the Hatteras Inlet and ridden them coming back in but that was in a head boat large enough to handle it! It's a little weird seeing those wave catch up to you looking like they're going to engulf the back of the boat.

    Listen to the audio; clearly an unhappy group of passengers. The chop isn't so much issue as the jackass pilot; especially losing (or giving up) headway and coming about.
    With next to zero qualifications to operating pleasure craft, compared to road vehicles; it might be awhile before these people return to the water.
