    Why don't we see the trailer moving upward when #1- the amount of load being taken off? #2 the magnet & metal pulling up on the metal trailer?

    There won't be any movement of the trailer or rail car until enough of the load has been removed to unladen the suspension. That metal is ground up so fine it is almost a powder and their is only so much weight a magnet can attract, at a given strength
