Interesting, thanks for posting. Not sure I see an advantage. Also how do you lock the tool holder, seems like the angle could change trying to lock it down.

Thanks for the comment Ralphxyz! As there are variations in dimension in the different tool holders of the lathes, some inclination would already be predictable. However, they do not affect the cutting geometry of the tool, which could be a problem. The secret is to machine the slot where the tool will be fixed exactly at the center height of your machine!
