This is a new toy I just got off Craigslist (OK - it was $100 with a table for it - SHAZAM!)

I'm a high-end portrait artist and I have just re-branded myself using my signature for ALL Of my artwork (I also do furniture from found fragments and other art).

To use my signature effectively, I wanted to make business cards and stationery that feature it.

I had some dies made at Owosso (on the web) to deboss my business cards and stationery. (DEbossing is where the impression stands UP, EMbossing is where it is recessed)

Cool toy! I have many more things in mind for it...

Oh, yeah! I'm a fanatic about quick change tooling (SMED = single minute exchange of dies) so I set this up so I can swap out fences very quickly.
And, the MDF baseplate lifts off off the press base and can be swapped out in under 30- seconds with another embossing die (or debossing die, or steel rule die... etc.)
