    Thank You for you interest
There have been quite a few plans sold but no one has completed one yet, It is a lengthy project, the maximum diameter of dial you can make is 8", if you have any other questions please let me know

    Doug, She is beautiful!

I have an American Tool Pacemaker Lathe 16"x54 and as I am planning to clean her up and get everything readable, I am curious how you adjust the dial line spacing. If I have to remake the dials, I'd like to make them as close to original as posible. My goto lathe, Rockwell 14"x54, has dials I have worn the markings off of as well. If I were to build your contraption, will I be able to recreate markings in the correct spacing?

    American Pacemaker, nice Lathes
Better than me trying to explain to you how the tool works I'll put a couple of You Tube links in here and you can see how it's done, The lines are adjusted by you to your required lengths, the size of the characters are to your own preference that you purchase, you can make a dial with up too 200 divisions with the dividing plate you make for the tool, hope this helps
