    Mailing kids through the USPS in the 1900s - photo

    When the U.S. Postal Service began accepting parcels in 1913, people sent all kinds of items including children. The practice was formally outlawed by the Post Office Department in 1915.

    If they hadn't outlawed mailing people, would have happily mailed my mother in law to outer Siberia.............then again, maybe not, might have started a war!

    I've met a few brats I wouldn't mind stuffing into a box and shipping them off to anywhere else.

    USPS probably caught a lot of $hit for delivering soiled letters and parcels. Wonder who changed the diapers???
