Intellectually I've always known making your own tools by brazing on carbide inserts was doable. But never saw the need until today's watching Rob's video. Suddenly I'm getting some creative thoughts on construction of high performance and specialized boring bars and keeping vibration frequencies and the resulting chatter as high up as possible.
