    Interesting project. Given that the resin/catalyst reaction is an exothermic one, I wonder how they deal with the heat? It doesn’t look like the there’s a cooling table in use; the wooden frame suggests a DIY project. I’ve seen instances where a slab of clear resin just 2” thick cracks from the heat generated during curing.

    Curious.


    After some exploration, I find some low-heat resin/catalyst combos that stave off the results I saw in the sixties.

    Good stuff.
