Making a hammer from a book - video
-
Just because you can do something doesn't mean you should do it.
Get back to me when you learn to use the hold down on the scroll saw and make a functional Stirling engine out of a book.

I'm waiting for this making-a-x-from-a-y trend to evolve into more complex projects with additional steps, by which multiple tools are made by rebuilding the same original item, through a carefully ordered series of construction steps. Like: tool X is turned into tool Y, and then tool Y is turned into tool Z.
I can't find a functional reason for someone to do this, beyond the complex challenge and the appeal of a Rube Golderg-esque style of toolmaking.

Well all I can say is it is all Adam Savage's fault for titling the book every tool is a hammer Since books are tools He had to know someone would take him literally LOL

I want to see him turn a hammer into a book
