There are some steels that contain "chrome=" or chromium if you will, some of which are referred to as stainless steels.
By the way a nice little video that highlights why a lathe can be so handy. Most people would put a bolt in the tap holder or throw it out. Instead you made a proper replacement handle. Nice work.= "Pin It")
