    Quite good, yes if goal is mere hand power tools.

    Looked to me like someone just wanted to play with his food for a few tuber hits,

    The one thing I would have done differently is to cut the tomatoes on my clapped out old Bridgeport.

    I'd have to make a special vise for them. But I think it would be worth it to be able to get them sliced so thin with the slitting saw...

    Na, it would be more of a challenge to slice your tomatoes with a guillotine shear or a band saw
