    I used to work at a salt mine. EVERYTHING metal rotted out. That would be a pretty big issue for the sprinkler system. So all the sprinklers were wax dipped. I always thought that was neat.

    Did you know that if a match is a bit damp, you can stick it in your hair, and in a couple of minutes, static will drill it sufficiently?

    I have a shaved head. Does it matter which hair we use?

    I recall dipping Strike-Anywhere matches in clear nail polish to waterproof them and also mixing dryer lint and vaseline as a fire starting paste...
