Over the years I've made Electrical console's for my boats out of Plastic Jugs.
Cut, Weld, install!
No glue needed that I know of.
Who knows more about making things out of cast off Jugs from the Kitchen. Some of those things are almost indestructible. :pimpflash:
But most resist bonding by heat. (Welding)
I had the idea of modifying a "Hair Dryer" to make a 450 Degree heat gun just for welding those stubborn polymers.:( It's just an idea. I'm still alive!;)

Two of my favorites: Shop Vacuum Nozzle Attachment, and Flash Diffuser.
LOL, I searched but never thought of Jug! I'm easily fooled by small things like that. :)

My Barn is not heated. Nor enclosed. Way to cold down there right now.

I wish I could draw using some internet programs. Anybody know an easy one?

In another boat I cut up part of an old "Blue Bbl." and welded it into a Box form, with the back side in at an angle to fit the side of the Boat.
Quickly I learned some of my "Items" would rust.
I put an "Inner tube" cover over my box. Too late though. Switches, fuses/holders and Cigar Sockets.
After I replaced all the items, I put a better plastic cover, on a hinge, over the switches etc.
Pretty good, but I ran outta material and had to go collecting stuff in the Trees and on private property, left there after the Tornadoes of April 2010.
Now I'm gonna use Discards from there intended uses.
So Y'all git busy and keep me informed.
Some kinds of plastics cannot be glued because they have solvent in them.
Some will "run' at a lower temp than others.
So when you discover these pesky little problems, don't forget to post them.
Allergies or the Flu have me down something awful right now! :(
