Hi guys.
I am French so i remember the story.
In 2018, this super hero, Mamadou Gassama, was a young refugee from Mali. He was living illegally in France, trying to hide himself from the police and trying to find few jobs to survive.
Since the saving of the child, president Macron gave him the French nationality so he could go to the French firefighters academy.
Well deserved !

Then not only risking his own life in the feat of scaling the wall to save a child, he completely ignored his own status as an illegal not even concerned with the possibility of deportation that man truly was Un vrai super héros désintéressé. I think my high school French may be close OUi?
