This valve is made of plastic and has a 12 inch diameter opening. It is intended for use as a throttling valve in an irrigation ditch system to permit adjusting water-flow in one or more ditches, if multiple valves are installed as shown in the photos. The valve replaces our old method of using different width boards (see photo) with water flowing over the top to try to split the water between ditches.
