Here's a better example of a metal dishing stump. Most are made from wood or wood stumps.

Got it! I’m assuming your talking cold forging? Do you think the mount for the steel ball will stand up to prolonged pounding? Looks a little lite for heavy forming?

That’s impressive! More power to you if you have that level of skill as I don’t and respect those who do.

The stump and ball can be used for hot and cold forming. The ball is heavy it should last quite a while. The wheel on the tanks is so I can use different handmade forming tools. Thanks for the interest in my forming tools.
