    MILL TOOLING STORAGE RACKS

I have several milling machines including one with R8 taper and the other with MT3. In order to organize and separate the tooling for each I made the wooden racks shown in the photos. They each hold 16 tools and have a small drawer for small tools, drawbars etc..... I included handle cutouts on each side so they are easily moved to the mill table for set-up and then stored close at hand but out of the way when not in use. The R8 version is on the left and the MT3 on the right in the last photo. Guess now I need to do a MT2 version for my MYFORD lathe tooling.

These were designed in ASPIRE and cut from 3/8" premium plywood on my SHOPBOT router. Assembly is simple with glue and 5/8" pins from an airnailer. I am glad to answer questions on the forum or by PM.
