I put three of these on my mill, I am very satisfied with them.
Yes, they work quite well. I used the stainless mag scale units on my lathe they are a more accurate unit. I also put one on my drill press. I used a DRO Pros on the X & Y of my mill, and a Mitutoyo on the Quill. I will have to get some photos posted.
