    Milling Machine Table Guard/ Chip and Coolant Splash Guard

    One thing that is boring is cleaning the workshop after the machining from the milling machine. The worst thing is when the chip are all over the place and at the spots that are almost impossible to clean them. So I made this guard for the milling machine that you will see in the video.

    Doesn't the back wall of the splash guard limit your y-axis travel? I couldn't even mount a DRO scale on the back side of my table because it cost me 3/4" of y travel.

    Yes you have right but It is only 50mm. If I want more travel I will take out the guard

    My mill sucks so bad that 50mm is the end of the world.
