    Interesting build. I am curious if you you have checked how much pressure you can make with it.

    I like the idea of using a snap ring in the lathe chuck to control how deep you set the part. Have to try that.

    The retaining ring as a depth stop is a pretty interesting alternative to a spider in this case.
    Except for automatic transmissions and maybe a few other applications, these type of pumps usually use hardened steel for the housing and rotor with graphite vanes. The example in the video works well and obviously isn't intended for that kind of use, so nice work, Metall Antik!
