Mini Mill and Lathe Plastic handles must go

First project for any new mini mill or lathe owner is to replace the plastic control handles with steel.
My mill handles had the main body made of aluminum but the handle that you grab to rotate them was plastic. So the first thing to do was to replace the plastic. Same for the lathe. The lathe eventually received a brand new very heavy cast iron hand wheel for the tail stock which was another nice upgrade. I still have one plastic handle to replace and that is the carriage hand wheel. I did replace the plastic handle with steel and next will be the wheel.
