Miniature Lathe Update

Thought I would update the progress on the little Lathe a bit, The headstock is completed all but the outboard gearing for the lead screw, the saddle and the apron almost completed except for the half nuts, I still have to install the rack and pinion gear for the carriage, I need to make the pedestals for the bed, I still have to make the drive assembly and a wooden platform to mount the machine, here are a few pics of the progress so far.

I'll be glad to see it done myself, lots of little parts to make, but it's fun though !!

No I havn't made a display case yet, It's probably going on the fireplace mantel or in the book case, I'll see where it looks best and go from there.

Absolutely my man, there will be a video and tons of photos on the build itself, it's going to be a while yet though, going on vacation the 6th of this month and will be gone a whole month, so that's going to put me behind a little, soon as I get back from Alaska I'll get back on it !!
