Oh that is slick. The thing barely even slows down. I worked on a coal terminal that had a dumper/flipper similar to the one in the video below, but the one on site flipped two cars simultaneously instead of one.

So, the cars never uncouple for this operation? Does that mean the cars rotate on the axis of the couplers and the couplers swivel?

Yup. At least that's how I understand it. I don't know anything about train couplers so I'm not sure how they pull this off.
