Initial thought is that it looks flimsy and unstable, why so long free hanging linear rod?. Imo a lot of work (and components) to make something that these days can be purchased quite cheap and to much higher quality.
Same objection here, serious difficulty locating secured rod ends at identical center-to-center dimensions with minimal equipment. Overhang of undersized linear bearing rods (I'll bet 2 vertical, then horizontal tried first), the swivel hasn't a substantial center bearing, or cleared relief (underneath table). Plywood is pretty flat, but not machine flat. Using only 1 of the 2 De-Sta-Co lever clamps is sure to jack the free side up, with cut out of plumb.
On the other hand, available proper facilities and resources are a huge issue for many craftspeople. As a prototype/ working model, not horrendous.
