Hi All
I appreciate this will only be appropriate to a small amount of people. I am starting to paint my 1”scale traction engine and wanted to be able to spin and rotate the individual wheels to maintain an even coat of paint. The wheels slide on to the jig which is sat on a cheap plastic turntable. Hopefully this might be of interest to other model makers.

One back and front wheel sprayed with etch primer using painting jig
The wheels have been etch primed and the outside rims have had two coats of grey paint. Next they will be masked off and the inner rims spokes and hubs will be painted red

The strakes and outer rims have been sprayed grey and masked off and had a few coats of red. Masking the wheels was quite a lengthy process and took about 2 hours to mask all four. I then spent some time masking the inside of the horn plates which took a further hour and a half to complete. Slow going but hopefully worth it. The wheels still need a couple more light coats as can be seen in the photo. I have also included a photo of the tender.
