    I've watched the guys at the boat shop near me make custom gaskets from silicone using a similar process. They make a form from wood, cover it with saran wrap. lay down silicone in the form, then cover it with saran wrap and smooth it out. When the silicone cures they remove the plastic and they've got durable custom gaskets for sealing things on a boat.
    If you can't make it precise make it adjustable.
