    Exactly, show me one that has died from the gas then we might believe it, the thing is moles gophers are well adapted to living on low oxygen with high levels of C02. the next thing is they are extremely sensitive to vibrations, and they will plug their won tunnels behind them if you try to gas them, that little engine would not be able to produce enough carbon monoxide to do much if the mole was more than a few feet away from it. Also, their tunnels are so close to the surface the gas will just dissipate into the loose soil both above and below.
