Morse taper ejection
My solution for my situation. My dead centres are all hard so no hope of drilling/tapping etc.
Also my tailstock does not have a solid face for the methods posted and has no drift slot.
A small slug of brass with an embedded under flush magnet sticks on the end and works well if I remember to use it. I think I have seen this idea somewhere else.
