I'll see y'all in Hong Kong...

Interesting the complaints we see in the news is how much Bovine the US eats. This blows the entire meat question in the US out of the water.
US is 3rd in Bovine.
US is 5th in all meats.
US is 6th in Poultry.
And not even on the charts for other meats.
And the US eats more Poultry than ANY other meat.

The one meat I hardly ever consume is any meat that once had feathers. Right now, I have 16 blocks of Jersey Mikes ham in my freezer Let me tell you 200 lbs. of ham is a lot of sandwiches I saw a 12-1/2 lb. block into 3 cubes the allow 1 to thaw run it threw my meat slicer at up to a 1/2inch thick it lasts us about a week There are lots of recipes for ham LOL. Chicken? if they are not laying eggs, the only thing those things are good for is to cook up for my dogs. but they will even eat turkey so they're not so smart.

Fascinating infographic. Interesting that some of the countries traditionally known for their gastronomy don't appear (France, Italy).
This gives one view of some statistics, but it can be useful to get a different picture, as it were:
