They collect the feces from the species and make coffee out of it. Oh well there was a guy in my unit in Germany that got hold of a bag of camel dung from the local zoo then tried to sell it as hashish

This was part of a CID sting, but the thing about camel dung, as is true with the excrement of many animal species is, once dried pulverized then wetted again it can be molded into shapes, just like can be done with hashish. A lot of drug runners coming from Morocco to Europe back in the 70s would mold hashish into things like picture frames to try and hide it

Had a buddy come back from the first gulf war with a package of camel dung cigarettes. I remember the container being somewhat conical and they looked like mini joints.

Is that like a brand name or were they actually filled with camel dung? Seems like the kind of thing that a guy could just scrape off the side of the road instead of paying money for.
