I am reminded of all of the excellent recent lumber memes. Judging from the comments on HomeDepot.com, it looks like the lumber is also shrinkflating, and beyond just their low quality "whitewood" hamburger-lumber. People are complaining that some of the more expensive 4x8 plywood sheets seem to have lost a little thickness.

its much better, three weeks ago it was a lot worse. turns out his nephew was sat on a tractor "Helping" sat on his mobile phone texting away and accidentally hit a button which lowered the implement his uncle was working on attached to the back of the tractor.
