    motocycle lift ideas.

Hi. I'm new here and looking for ideas for building a motorcycle lift (steel fabrication). Currently riding a Triumph Tiger 1050. Any addition maintenance information on the bike would also be most useful.

Try the link below, hope it works, other than that just go to youtube and do a search there are plenty of 'different' styles out there. Just choose one that you feel safe with.

hi if you are a home owner and use a ride on tractor and other equipment, then I did this.. I went to harbor freight, actually princess auto in canada and got a 300 dollar lift got 2 pieces of pipe about 48 inches wide. under carriage of lift where cycle sits i put 1 front and rear so they stick out each side about 9.5 inches covered with abs plastic pipe so you dont hit into it and hurt yourself. then screwed a 2x10 piece of wood on each side . the reason is I can put the ride on and do head gasket job ( 2 times ) . lots of mower repairs and it is a work bench for other jobs it can hold 1000 pounds and works for atv's also. remove the wood and you have a cycle lift. side note mine came from china and I opened package there was a 2 inch bug ... i stomped on it.. my lift is in here some where. even I cant find it. lol.. jim

Search Adventure Rider There are dozens of threads about homemade lifts. Most of them cost more than the Harbor Freight lift, but are taylored to fit the end users requirements.

The Harbor Freight unit goes on sale for $279.99 about twice a year. It's getting about time for it to go on sale again.
